Wck-140: French Comtoise:
A charming 19th century Comtoise - scorched line decorated pine case with signed, stamped brass work: "Les Oiseaux/B.W.Paris". The pendulum with children moving up & down each second on a see-saw. In good working order. Glass replaced. A rare movement with two different strikes - a light count and a deep gong two minutes later. 96" h., 16" w., 13" d. $2,900

Wck-152: 19th Century Black Forest Carved Cuckoo Clock:
A delightfully charming late 19th century Black Forest carved Cuckoo Clock. Oak leaves and branches surround and create the clock's "house". The clock face surround is a hunting horn. The whole is surmounted with a well detailed 6-point Stag on shield and a hunting bag and flask hang below from the hunting horn. Nicely modelled bird. The works have been fully restored. 22" h., 15" w., 12" d. $2,400

Howard Miller, c. 1970s tall case clock, burr ash and chrome case with chrome and metal face. Three train 8-day movement. Face and hands by George Nelson and case design by Arthur Urmanoff. Weight driven, 3-train time, strike and Westminster chime movement. 68 1/2"h., 16"w., 9"d. $1,800

WCK-186: 18th Century French Tall Case Clock:
A great late 18th century French Morbier tall case clock of cherry & ash, the panels of solid burl. The top with inset rounded corners surmounted by ring & frieze carving to mimic columns. Wonderful lower bulbous shape. Bottom section with cabinet. Raised on short cabriole legs. The associated works are of the period, c. 1780, utilizing the rarely found crown wheel escapement or verge escapement. Replaced pendulum. Runs for 5 days. Chimes on the hour, 2 minutes after, and the half hour. $6,800

WCK-188z: Vincenti Mantle Clock and Urns:
Bronze, marble and glass Vincenti mantle clock and garniture urns, c. 1880. 1855 Paris Exposition Silver Medal mark. In the form of a monumental neo-classical country house gate. $4,500
