WOF 2157z: A significant c.1800 South Carolina Yellow Pine Mantle, the handsome panelled pilasters replicating the panelled horizontal panel. Particularly intriguing is the layering of open "baffles" below the shelf. All original except originally painted and in need of a piece in the left side of shelf. Found for and once installed in one of Chapel Hill's earliest homes. 82"w., 61"h. Opening: 51"w., 35"h. $2,500
