A fine Waring & Gillow George III style sideboard, c.1900-1920, using the finest materials (mahogany & oak secondary). Handsomely carved. This company continued the 200 year cabinetmaking firm of Gillow of Lancaster & London. Made in their Liverpool factory, they had a Royal Warrant from King Edward VII and King George V, producing pieces for the Royal Residence. 84" w., 27 1/2" d., 36" h. $3,600

A splendid c.1800 country French Vaisselier Enfilade from Bresse, the gorgeous burl panels throughout adding visual drama. The fine design is enhanced by floral carving & fine double moldings. Note the flute carving carried from crown valance to the base line below the carved sunflower paterae. The ogee rail supports are highly unusual & handsome. Brass hooks & central escutcheon.
