A wonderful and very rare Huntley & Palmers biscuit tin in the form of an artist’s palette. We have never seen this example in England, but we discovered it in the south of France.

Circa 1860 English inlaid burl wood lap desk writing box. Extravagantly inlaid with silver, abalone, and mother of pearl on ebony ground for the strapping, edges, & central cartouche.
