A handsome shaving mirror. Biedermeier revival, c. 1870-90. Mahogany with satin mahogany, ebonizing and ebony paint; mahogany secondary.

Walnut & walnut veneers. Reeded mirror frame reflects the reeded Corinthian columns of the stand, raised on short, turned feet.

A French “Miroir a Parecloses”, also called a bride’s mirror. 3rd quarter 19th century in Mannerist taste.

Mirror created from an antique Chinese wood panel. The delighful, likely 19th century, Chinese carved panel was custom mounted as a mirror in the 1970s in Hong Kong for the last owner.
