Circa 1860 English inlaid burl wood lap desk writing box. Extravagantly inlaid with silver, abalone, and mother of pearl on ebony ground for the strapping, edges, & central cartouche.

Circa 1870 English “Trinity House” sewing work box. Contrasting woods marquetry of checkered lines & Greek key line inlay borders.

1891-1911 Chinese cinnabar stamp box. Late Qing Dynasty. Red lacquer. Carved details all around.

Scarlet tole French snuff box, circa 1800, navette form – silver trimmed.

A wonderful & very rare Huntley & Palmer’s Biscuit Tin in the form of an Artist’s Pallette. We have never seen this example in England and, in fact, discovered it in the South of France.
