Early 19th century Country French Homme Debout of burl ash, ash, and cherry wood. Rare form. Original steel hinges, escutcheons and handles. Well developed escargot feet.
C. Early 18th century English Inlaid & Carved Coffer or Lift Top Trunk. Diamond and parquetry inlay panels.
Octagonal form with molded base edge over intergral base. Solid mahogany with line inlay edging of boxwood; Raised on original stand with tapered legs, with quarter moon molding, ending in brass cuffs & casters.
