Circa 1830 Swedish classical period console & mirror. A fine & elegant example in mahogany with boxwood line inlays to accent the curves and scrolls of the design. Rondels accent the chapeau de gendarme crown & repeat at the sides of the curved console uprights (the latter also repeated at the frieze beneath the crown). Two pieces – mirror & console. Attaches directly to the wall (not self-supporting). Condition commensurate with age and use.
