Circa 1830 Georgian tall case clock. Gothic waist panel and boldly reeded square pilasters, partially stopped by ebony line inlays. Exceptional choice of mahogany veneers and solids. Broken arch pediment with carved rondels. Double crown molding, the back molding appearing as the temple behind the pediment. Face completely original with a “moon” dial featuring a ship of the line in full sail. Each corner with a still colorful set of paintwork shells. Runs well. 89″ h., 11 /8″ d., 26″ w.
