Circa 1770 George III period cellarette on stand, English. Octagonal form with molded base edge over intergral base. Solid mahogany with line inlay edging of boxwood; the top with exceptional flame grain. Raised on original stand with tapered legs, with quarter moon molding, ending in brass cuffs & casters. Brass lantern handles, knob & escutcheon. The interior with plug but no longer lead lined. Restored chain to hold the top when open. Condition commensurate with age and use.
